you picked my flowers until they were gone
just to leave until they bloomed again
I kept growing for you
hoping you'd take the seeds
to plant a garden of your own.
I think deep down you thought you couldn't grow
and every flower you picked reaffirmed it
you thought you'd never be more than a taker
so thats all you ever were.
it was ok for awhile
I'm good at growing
when you picked the greenhouse barren
i tended to the leaves and the soil
then I realized I rarely see it all in full bloom
so I changed the locks.
