and one day some great teacher
will discover our world beneath them
while digging for lost things to archive
the rocks will tell our story
the love we shared in portraits
tethered by the weather they endured
people will talk of a great love
that time felt it had to cut short
but they'll swear in was in the name of love
and maybe i'll never know why
